Don’t keep score, extend mercy
We all have our favorites, whether it’s a meal, a sports team, or a car. But James says we can’t play favorites with people. We also can’t pick and choose which laws we like. We’re all guilty and have been offered mercy. The Mercy Rule starts with a look in the mirror and a focus on what was done for us, not to us. We’re to give mercy, not judgment and forgive like our life depends on it.
