Adult classes and groups help us become more fully engaged through reading the Bible, forming closer relationships with fellow believers and utilizing the opportunities for us to serve others together.

Studying the Bible

Adult Classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15. Each class engages you to build relationships with others and grow in your faith. Whether you are new to church and the Bible, or have been involved for years, there is a Sunday class for you.

SHORT-TERM CLASSES
We have 4 short-term classes at 9:15 am. Class experiences are a solid way to grow your faith through study with others. 

Chapel –Devotion Hack (Women’s Class) A 15-mimute technique to get you into the Bible and God’s presence daily. Join us January 20th & 27th.

Room #215  Ready to Launch Christian parents are not seeking mere behavior modification in their children but the growth of truly godly passions. Join us starting January 13th. 

Room #216 The Living Truth About Dying Death can be a topic we stay away from as much as we can  With so many unknowns and fears it can be overwhelming to discuss  Join Julie Robards for a 5-week class and Biblical conversation on the Living Truth About Dying starting January 13th.

Room #219 Christian: It’s Not What You Think The words used to describe Christians today often bear no resemblance to what Jesus wanted his followers to be known for. We will address questions like these: What one word should be descriptive of every Christian? How should Christians treat those who are outside the faith? Why do people love Jesus but can’t stand his followers? Join us starting January 13th.

Connections

Our Adult Groups will connect you with other adults through your shared experiences, encouragement, and service. Groups meet throughout the week at various times and days. Topics, studies and locations vary as well.

Men’s Ministries leads men to grow in Jesus Christ by serving and helping others and through the study of His Word. Men’s groups meet at various times throughout the week. Other special men’s events and service opportunities occur throughout the year.

Women’s ministry will engage you with other women of all ages and seasons of life to grow with Jesus together. Small groups, classes and Bible studies, book clubs, conferences, road trips, and Girls Night Out events give a variety of options for you to more fully engage at FC.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

Ladies Connect
Join us for a meal, worship, brief teaching and fellowship with other ladies on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30-8pm. We meet in the Elementary Big Room. The cost is $10. RSVP to Nancy Hall @ nhall@fcnewburgh.com

Women’s Prayer
Join us monthly to meet new people and pray for FC and our community every 2nd Sunday of the Month, 8-9am in the Prayer Room 101.
