Isn't it easy to get excited when the Christmas season rolls around?  Christmas music is playing on every channel, Hallmark Christmas movies are available 24/7, families are making plans to get together, pictures are being taken for the annual Christmas card . . .  But the closer we get to December 25th, sometimes we shift from anticipation mode to survival mode.  What if, this year, we choose a counter-cultural approach to Christmas that points our families and friends to God's love and peace?  What if, this year, we intentionally focus our Christmas anticipation on the birth of Jesus and set our hearts, eyes, AND budgets on the true gift of Christmas?  This Sunday, we'll begin a new sermon series: HOLIDAY SURVIVAL GUIDE. Plan on being at FC and get the encouragement you need to not just survive the Holidays, but to thrive in the hope and joy Christ brings.  Invite a friend and meet us in the Worship Center at 10:30am!
