We support Sharon and Newburgh Elementary schools in various ways to help meet the needs of teachers, staff, children and families. One example is collecting classroom snacks for students don’t have them.
Adopt-A-Staff Ministry: Congregation members are matched with teachers and school staff where they provide support through prayer, words of encouragement and a point of contact.
Event and Activity Assistance- Volunteers from FC work alongside teachers and school personnel at various schools events like the Newburgh Back 2 School Picnic.
Snack Drive - Each year, we collect snacks to share with teachers so they can provide snacks for students who don't have them.
Neighborhood Connections
FC goes outside the walls of the church to support our neighbors and members of the community through serving at agencies like borrowed hearts, apartment complexes or other needs as they evolve. One example of neighboring well is the Christmas Party at Hidden Elms Apartments.
Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM)
FAM is all about supporting and advocating for families. FC members volunteer in various ways (providing a meal, childcare, lawn care, etc) to help families who might need some extra support through a wrap-around model of care. Everyone can do something to support a child or family!
