Some view the Ten Commandments as too restrictive or outdated, but God commands because He loves and knows His creation. Even while Moses was receiving the 10 Commandments, the Jewish people turned from God. When left on our own accord, we quickly turn to revelry. When we pursue God, we pursue to exist as originally created.
